Micro-needling is a skin rejuvenation technique that creates tiny punctures to the superficial layers of the skin to stimulate repair. Mopheus8 is superior to other micro-needling devices due to its customized depth of penetration and ability to treat deeper layers of the skin. It delivers radiofrequency using gold-plated micro-needles to penetrate the skin to stimulate collagen remodelling. Radiofrequency energy targets the deepest layers of your skin to tighten the underlying tissue and breakdown superficial fat.

What to expect during a Morpheus8 treatment?
Your comfort is our top priority. A triple action topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment site 45-60 minutes before your treatment.
A Morpheus8 treatment can take between 15-60 minutes depending on the treatment area. Most patients find the treatment tolerable and describe it as a feeling of pressure, pinching, or heat.
What to expect after a Morpheus8 treatment?
Following a Morpheus8 treatment, you can expect tiny pinpoint bleeding from the skin that seals within minutes from the micro-needling. Your skin may appear slightly erythematous (red), with mild swelling or bruising. You may notice red, raised bumps at the micro-needling sites. These symptoms typically resolve in 24-72 hours. You may also notice that your skin feels tight, rough, or drier than usual for the first 5-7 days after the treatment.
When do I see results?
Visible results can typically be seen after 3 weeks with ongoing improvements up to 3 months, as new collagen is produced.
For optimal results, we recommend 3 Morpheus8 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The number of treatments required is dependent upon the patient’s current skin condition and treatment goals. Once you have achieved your desired results, we recommend maintenance treatments 6-12 months apart.
Morpheus8 results are long term but dependant on your genetics, lifestyle, and environmental factors. It is important to invest in your new healthy skin by using a medical grade skin care products such as ZO Skin Health® and the use of daily SPF 30+ sunscreen.
After your Morpheus8 treatment:
- Do not exercise for 24 hrs
- Do not use makeup for 48-72 hrs; mineral make-up may be used in 24 hrs
- You will be provided a post-treatment care pack to be used for 3 days and daily sunscreen is recommended
- Do not use products with active ingredients (Vit A, Vit C, etc.) or exfoliators for 5 days post-treatment
There are few risks associated with Morpheus8. Most are self-limited such as skin inflammation, tenderness or scratches. Rare complications include infection, small blisters or a burn from the delivery of radiofrequency energy which generates heat below the skin. Morpheus8 has built in safety mechanisms to reduce this risk.

What is Morpheus8 Body?
Morpheus8 Body is designed for deep fractional coagulation of subcutaneous tissue. Morpheus8 body works deeper than the standard Morpheus8 handpiece to deliver radiofrequency deep into the subcutaneous tissues. Using a Mopheus8 Body handpiece, you can treat excess volume, cellulite, stretchmarks and loose skin on the body.
